This is perhaps one of the all-time classic dance tracks, and only just qualifies for this mix having been released for the first time way back
in 1989. The synchopated piano riff throughout teamed with the pounding bass and explosive female vocals make this a song that easily sticks your head and fills the dancefloor.

STEP INFO...

BEGINNER - 1 footer, 69 Tap Steps / 2 Hold Steps

Your standard basic Beginner steps - minimal use of consecutive steps and logical flow.

LIGHT - 3 footer, 123 Tap Steps / 12 Hold Steps

These steps have a smooth flow and compliment the music nicely by highlighting the main accents in the vocal line and bass with freezes and jumps. Stream slowly gather intensity throughout.

STANDARD - 5 footer, 217 Tap Steps / 17 Hold Steps

These steps stick most closely to the vocal line - this is particularly evident in the chorus with the use of 16ths in the synchopation. 8ths obviously play a much more active role in these steps, and stream is noticeably increased.

HEAVY - 7 footer, 266 Tap Steps / 18 Hold Steps

In terms of number of steps, there isn't much of a difference between this set and Standard, but the rhythmical qualities of the two are very different. This set returns to mirroring the vocals and bassline in sequence, with even the short synth accents in the chorus getting in on the action! The use of 16ths is pretty considerable throughout due to the synchopated nature of the song, and there are a number of crossovers throughout.

CHALLENGE - 8 footer, 324 Tap Steps / 7 Hold Steps

There is just so much synchopation in this song that I felt a Challenge stepset was a must, and here you have a very complex array rhythms all focusing around 16ths. There are certain sections where more stream is used that chaos - the 8th note run at measure 17 for example - and the gentle twist of the intro also adds to the variety. However, this set is really all about being able to pick out the various rhythms from the layers that make up the song, so it may take a couple of listens before you catch everything...
